Using a new Lenevo laptop with Windows 8.1 installed. At the present time I am just using Webmail as my email client. Yesterday, whilst being able to logon to my Webmail account I stopped being able to action emails from Bigpond using my P.C, except for one messge I sent. My message list is not being updated either. Both the updating and accessing of emails work from my phone. When I try to action anything from my P.C., whether to read or delete a message, I get the following message:
" An error has occurred while trying to provide the page you requested. This may be due to a problem with your browser or may be as a result of a current system outage. You can check for outages using the Service Status page. If there are no outages reported on the Service Status page you may be able to fix the problem by closing all of your browser windows and reopening them".
I have checked and apparently there is no outage in my area (4879). I have changed the browser (am now using Chrome, was Internet Explorer), rebooted and refreshed my laptop and nothing has changed. All other functions of the internet appear normal.
Any suggestions?
