I recevied an email from Telstra asking to confirm if I would like to keep my bigpond email address with some changes coming up. I logged in as instructed to confirm however it is showing a new email address in a telstra domain, rather than my existing bigpond address. I have emailed Telstra and looked on the site but can't find any answers to my questions, which are...
1. Am I going to lose my bigpond.com email address?
2. If so, why?
3. If so, when?
3. What will happen to my emails on the bigpond service; will they transfer to the new email address or do I need to archive them?
4. Can I change the new Telstra domain email address? - I don't like the default one generated by the system.
5. I received the notification email from Telstra three times and logged into confirm my intention to continue three time. Is there a problem with the system not recognising requests? (The most recent email was headed 'final reminder')
