I can't get my android devices to send emails from my telstra email account. I have a personal domain for email only, that is hosted with telstra. I can access and send emails without problem from Outlook on my PC, but I cannot get the settings to work on my phone and tablet.
As it stands, incoming is working fine
pop.bne.server-mail.com
no security, port 110
Auth with my email address (me@domain.com.au) and password
Outgoing,
smtp.telstrabusiness.com
no security, port 110
No auth
This will tell me that the email sent, but it is never received by the intended party. I have tried it with SSL on port 465 enabling the same auth as my incoming and get no response from the server. I have tried port 25 no security, and the emails won't send from my phone.
Does anyone know the smtp settings required to make a telstra email account send emails from mobile devices? Any help is appreciated, as the 24/7 chat is offline at the moment.
