I am in desperate need of help? For 2 months I have been trying to connect to Bigpond through Outlook on my computer.
I just can't connect the accounts. I have tried every setting Telstra Bigpond has given..
The connection to test the account are failing every time. Whilst it says it has failed to send the test message it is actually in the inbox. but I cant use Outlook 2016 (we changed from Office 2010) hoping this would solve the problem.
I have the email status report from Bigpond and am following all instructions.
I have Telstra Setup Bigpond email on outlook instructions (BOTH) 2010 and now Outlook 2016 but nothing is working.
Over Christmas I had someone who earnns a living working with computers try to connect it for me, after 2 hours he gave up.
He is convinced it is a Bigpond problem. but finding someone who works for Bigpond to fix the problem has been a time comsuming exercise.
I have emailed, phoned ,chatted with Bigpond and tried everything they have suggested. I have Windows 7 and Outlook 2016, with AVG paid version protection.
If anyone has been able to solve this problem could you PLEASE PLEASE tell me how? I just want to be able to receive my email and work from Outlook like I have for the last 10 years.
