What is the known issue when using Internet Explorer 11, in detail ?
Re: Not Able To Access webmail
Re: My account used as sender of Spam
I am also having this problem. it has only started this week but rather than getting mail returned as undelivered I am receiving emails to my email address from my email address.
When I checked the unsubscribe link (did not click on link) they all point to http starting with the same sequence.
Re: I cannot print emails due to HTTP Status 404.
Thank you for your response. Wiki Errors suggests to download a repair utility, but I am never sure about doing this until I have checked it is a safe option. I shall check with our local computer man this week and let you know what he says.
Re: Additional Mailboxes on Outlook
Hi
Have you attempted to log into your My Account service here http://tel.st/cpyn then clicking on the email address in question?
From there you should be able to navigate to the webmail inbox and click on settings, then reset password.
Please let us know how you go.
Email Security Settings
I'm using Live Mail 2012 in Windows 10. When I send emails with attachments, I get a message about checking security settings.
Question; How do you check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled.
Re: Bigpond email on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.2
Hi wolf4eva
The full manual email configuration settings are listed here https://www.telstra.com.au/support/category/email/set-up/recommended-email-settings-for-telstra-mail if your mail program is not finding these automatically.

Re: I want to delete some of my blocked senders, but it wont allow me
Your reply about working to extend the limited number of blocked senders is now nearly a year old.
How's it going?
Much progress yet?
Re: webmail reactivation
Hi typewriterj,
If the email has not automatically resumed then the tech support team may have to escalate further. If you have already contacted them then you should have a link to activate via SMS which will arrange a callback from them. If not then they can be reached on 133933.

Hey
Were you having some similar issues that you needed assistance with?

Re: Telstra webmail unblock sender
Hi Caltoo,
Have you tested with a different browser on the tablet to rule out an issue only on Chrome? If it is happening on multiple browsers, then can you let me know which tablet you were having this issue on.

Re: Junk email on iphone
Hi Grumpyoldtimer,
It's interesting that your iPhone 7 email program is letting spam through but not the MS Office mail app on your computer. Have you logged into webmail to check if these spam emails are sitting on the server? If so there must be an extra 'wall' of protection on your computer which is filtering this spam out.
Re: Contact Telstra Security Operations IB102
Hey guys,
I also recieved this message from postmaster regarding the same issues.... Can someone assist with this issue?

Does Telstra/Bigpond do ANYTHING with reported spam?
I've been with Telstra for years but am disgusted by the amount of spam and phishing they let through.
I mark it as spam on their site, select block sender when possible but it keeps coming - the same topics, same senders, same (obvious) attempts to disguise the content (0 instead of O etc).
But, despite them saying it has been reported, nothing is ever done!
If I can spot it and clean it out, if MS Outlook on my computer lets me create rules, why the hell does Telstra just keep letting this obvious crap and con jobs through?
Re: Why aren't I receiving all my emails?
In regards to the email address that your Telstra Bills are being sent to, have you tried logging into My Account to change the email address that they are being sent to?
Can you advise how you are accessing your BigPond mailbox, via webmail or an email program/app?
If you are using an email or app, if you log into webmail, can you see the missing email in the inbox or any of the sub-folders, including Sent?
Have you checked your email settings to see if there are any forwarding or rules configured? This applies for email programs and webmail.

Re: I want to delete some of my blocked senders, but it wont allow me
Hi dougstew,
To make your block list more effective instead of adding the entire email address onto the block list, try adding just the domain to the block list (e.g. *@example.com). Add it in with the * before the @ symbol. This will block out any spam coming from that one domain and only take up one line in your block list rather than 5 or 6.
If you see that spam is coming from a sub-domain (flags.beach.com) then you would treat them as a separate domain as well.
e.g:
*@beach.com wont block surf@flags.beach.com
likewise, *@flags.beach.com wont block surf@beach.com
Re: I cannot print emails due to HTTP Status 404.
Can you confirm which browser you are trying to print from?
If you haven't tried it so far, I would recommend downloading and using Firefox which we have been able to use successfully

Emails on tablet
After months of successfully accessing my bigpond emails on my ACER tablet, it's suddenly stopped working. That is, I am unable to enter my user details and password to reach the webmail/server.
I'm about to go overseas and I'm concerned i won't be able to access my emails.
Can anyone help please?
Re: Contact Telstra Security Operations IB102
Hi SilvaSurfer,
I've passed this on to the Telstra Postmaster to investigate.
